We used Example App daily for two weeks on a current-generation Android phone and an older iPhone, covering sign-up, the core feature set, and everyday use.
Quick summary
Example App is straightforward to set up and the core flow works reliably. Where it struggles is anything outside the main path — settings are sparse and a couple of secondary features felt unfinished during our test period.
What worked well
- Sign-up is fast. Under three minutes end to end, and errors are described clearly rather than as generic codes.
- The core feature is dependable. We did not experience the main flow failing or producing an unexpected result across either device.
- Notifications are relevant. We were not spammed with promotional pushes beyond what we opted into.
Where it falls short
- Settings are limited. Several options we expected — clearing history, adjusting notification frequency — were either buried or missing entirely.
- Secondary features felt unfinished. One in-app feature crashed once on the older iPhone; it did not recur.
- Support is slow. A support request during testing took four days for a first reply.
Who this suits
If you mainly want the core feature and do not need deep customisation, this is a reasonable choice. If granular control over notifications and settings matters to you, the current version will likely frustrate you.
Testing notes
Tested over two weeks in August 2026 on Android 15 and iOS 18. Your experience may differ by region or app version — see the setup guide if you are just getting started.
